Bokang Kelepa is a qualified Mining Engineer with over 15 years' operational experience in opencast and underground mining. He is also a certified John Maxwell Team member.
Bokang's career began with a bluechip mining house. He filled multiple roles in various business units from 2005-2018, from a being Student Mine Official, Mining Manager, to Operational Readiness Manager amongst others, before venturing out as an entrepreneur and starting Baletsema Mining and Technology Services.
He is fascinated by the changes that are taking place globally, primarily due to advancements in technology. In seeking to understand and learn more about the implications of technology in the mining industry, he has attended various technology-related academic forums and made educational visits to Silicon Valley and Rwanda’s Transform Africa Summit.
He took this research a step further in 2019 and founded the 4IR-in-Mining Seminar which looks at the changes that technology brings about in mining, all the way from Academia to Mining Companies, Government, Unions, Investors, Entrepreneurs, and Managing Consultants. The first event launched on May 31st, 2019. Furthermore, Bokang conducts guest lecturing on Technology in Mining with various Mining Schools.

Mahlodi is a qualified Mining Engineer with over 10 years’ experience in the coal mining sector.
A member of the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and the South African Colliery Managers Association, Mahlodi is a strategy-driven woman in mining with strong leadership skills and excellent innovation skills. She has worked in various mining business units in her career where she obtained a bird's view of coal mining.
Mahlodi’s career began and grew at one of the bluechip mining house, where she filled various production roles including being a Miner, Shift Boss, Mine Overseer, Technology Engineer, Business Improvement lead and Production Manager. In 2014, she was promoted to Mining Engineer under the Technology Management portfolio, where she was responsible for sourcing new technologies and facilitating new mining method simulations among others.
Mahlodi is fascinated by strategy implementation in organisations, facilitating improvement workshops and leading teams. She is also Sasol Mining’s 2018 overall winner for the best culture changer of the year and best in constructive dialogue. She is currently in the process of completing her MBA at GIBS which she began in 2018, to further grow her business acumen.
